Certification: Therapeutic Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Course Length: 60 hours — CEU credits provided

Required Reading: Therapeutic Neuro-Linguistic Programming by Dr. Marla Brucker

Course Description: This course will provide students with a solid foundation of structure and incorporate powerful communication techniques and rapport skills designed to effectively influence permanent change with anyone seeking assistance.  These advanced method of NLP and language patterns are useful in helping others overcome limiting beliefs, fears or negative habits in nearly any setting.  The content will benefit anyone desiring to optimize communication skills and add to their tool box of therapeutic modalities. This course is also beneficial to anyone desiring mastery in their personal journey.

Course Goal and Objectives: Students will learn cutting edge techniques of NLP, the language of the mind. The students will learn to facilitate greatness with individual clients, groups and in their personal lives.   One of the primary differences in NLP when compared to modern psychology is the fact that NLP does not assume that there is a “healthy” human ideal.  Each person has their own idea of the world and how to best interact within it.  By using the techniques taught in our NLP training, the therapist will be able to enter into their client’s model of reality and help them shift it in a way that makes it easier for them to relate to their own experience.  This is by far the most respectful way to address the potential of excellence of each person in relation to their idea of what is beneficial to them.

The study of NLP allows us to:

Clearly communicate with others
Motivate and be motivated
Assist others in reaching their potential
Build non-verbal rapport
Resolve conflicts
Create a positive attitude in others as well as ourselves
Become flexible
Understand the intricacies of other people’s worlds
Be non-judgmental and accepting
Increase choices
